How Telangana SI & Constable recruitment works, what dates to watch for, and where to find the official notification — plus how to start preparing free today.
The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) conducts recruitment for Sub-Inspector (SI) and Constable posts and releases the official notification on its website. This feed will carry the key updates in English and Telugu as they happen.
What to watch for in every recruitment cycle:
- Notification release and the last date to apply
- Eligibility: education, age limit and physical standards for your category
- Preliminary written exam date and hall ticket
- Physical Measurements & Efficiency Tests (PMT / PET)
- Final written examination and results
The preliminary written test is objective, carries 200 marks, and is bilingual (English & Telugu) — roughly half Arithmetic & Reasoning and half General Studies, GK and Current Affairs. For every wrong answer, one-fifth (20%) of that question's marks is deducted.
Important: exact dates, vacancies and cut-offs change every cycle and are set only by the official TSLPRB notification. Always confirm them on the TSLPRB website before acting.
Meanwhile, you do not have to wait to start. On TS Police Hub you can take free mock tests, read bilingual study notes, follow the daily current affairs and practise with previous-year papers — so you are ready the day the notification drops.
